Today, GLBT issues have moved to the forefront of our political dialogue. From films and television to newspapers and magazines, the GLBT community has an ever increasing presence in today's cultural lexicon.
There is one major issue being ignored in this discussion, lesbian elders. "Don't Mess with Bill" will explore the life of one lesbian elder in particular, Dorothy Fairbairn. Capturing an important piece of our American Experience, we will understand the struggles of the lesbian community from post World War II to the present.
